Breaking News: Jollas Owns The Gambia??? A Survey Report Says Jammeh Discriminates At Other Tribes!!!
By Justice Sam, Banjul
The Gambia is in the hands of Jollas these days. The President has marginalized other tribes to the detriment of the nation. A random survey of his Government suggests that more and more Jollas are being entrusted with key positions in Government. From March to date, the President has been hiring his own ethnic group, entrusting them with key positions in Government. Here the list goes on……..
Gen. Lang Tombong Tamba: Army Chief, Jolla
Ousman Sonko: Interior Minister,Jolla
Benedic Jammeh: Inspector General of police, Jolla
Modou Lamin Jarju NIA DG, Jolla
Essa Tamba: Police Crime Coordinator, Jolla
Lt Sillah Kujabi, Commanding officer, Naval Command, Jolla
Lt.Colonel Lamin Bojang: Officer, Guards Battalion, Jolla
Fatim Badjie: Information Minister Jolla
Modou Sanyang: GRTS DG, Jolla
It’s imperative to note that these appointments were not done inline with the spirit of the constitution. The President personally handpicked these people, some of whom are square pegs in round whole.
The Mandingka ethnic group, which is the largest tribe in The Gambia suffered most in terms of job related discrimination, according to the survey report released. The report which was conducted in camera reveals that in the next five years, there would be few Mandingkas in the police, the NIA and the armed forces. The reports said the President is fortifying himself by getting rid of key potential threats from other tribes-most importantly the Mandingka tribe.
Here goes the list of fired Mandingka officers:
Barba Sarho: Former NIA Chief, Mandingka
Musa Dibba: Former NIA Chief, Mandingka
Salimina Drammeh: Former NIA Chief, Mandingka
Colonel Peter Singhatey: Fired/Resigned, Mandingka
CMC Burama Dibba: Fired, Mandingka
The rest of the list would be released later. The details of these findings would be communicated to you in subsequent editions.
