Dear Editor,

May I just pen a brief note to support my Koto MK Jallow. He is under so much fire that his own enemy must, out of fairness, become his advocate.

Unlike many of his adversaries, MK Jallow is a truthful and honest man (though sometimes boastful!). MK Jallow has also consistently highlighted Human Rights issues back home in The Gambia, be it on the appalling abuse of ORDINARY GAMBIANS during the crazy “With-Hunting” business, the arrests of Halifa Sallah and Pap Saine or the recent arrest of GPU members.

Those jumping out of their holes to attack Matthew now because he made a small mistake WERE CONSPICUOUSLY SILENT when MK Jallow and others were highlighting this serious NATIONAL issues. Now, because of a trivial matter, they jump up to fart in Matthew’s direction and cry “oh, look how much he smells!” Infact, it is Matthew’s detractors, at least one who is LYING about the FACTS of his departure from The Gambia, who smell.

Even when recently Matthew described Scales and Halake as “Jammeh collaborators” who would suffer in a post-Jammeh Gambia, Matthew is touching on a serious point that those interested in a peaceful and harmonious post-Jammeh Gambia need to address.

Sure, my Koto sometimes makes his points in unnecessarily confrontational and pompous ways – but he does make his points honestly; much more honestly than some of his detractors.

Keep it up MK Jallow, Old Warrior and Rebel Without A PAUSE!
