GAMBIAN FERRIES ABOUT TO SINK: A DISASTER IN WAITING!
By Agent Romio
A major sea disaster awaits Gambia, as the country’s insane President has ignored numerous public appeals for the nation’s old ferries to be repaired. Taiwan, Gambia’s main economic partner has donated couple of millions recently for the regime in Banjul to buy new engines to fix the ferries, but the Gambian dictator has decided to pocket the money. The funds were channeled through his Secretary General and Presidential Affairs Minister Njogu Bah.
Few days ago, the ferries experienced major mechanical problems while on sea. It took the ferry several hours before it could dock at the Barra crossing point. The ferry was stranded in the sea until 4.30 am on Saturday night.
“The safety of the Gambian people should be your number one priority Mr. president, but no, you are busy selling bread, sand, gravel, cows and goats, and lying to the Gambian people. On Saturday night, we were at sea till 4.30am. Yesterday, one of these boats got stuck in the middle of nowhere with over 150 Gambians on board. Mr. president, could please do your job and address this issue,” said a concerned passenger.
“Mr. President, due to you changing of the working hours, the people living in Barra are not making it home until 10pm at night and cannot spend time with their families. Mr. President, it is just a matter of time, one of the ferries will sink. The ferries are rusting and will sink soon. What happened to the money the Taiwanese donated towards the purchase of new engines for the ferries? Where is the money Mr. President? Did you and the GPA management CHOP THE MONEY? Jammeh ,you are a failure to the Gambian people.”
