To Ms.Neneh Mcdowal Gaye,Managing Director,Banjul Daily Observer.
From Michael Scales....United Kingdom.
C.C. The Freedom Newspaper;...........22nd June 2008
Concerning Mr Momodou Lamin Sanneh {Gambian Citizen}
Dear Neneh,
I was highlighted to the plight of Mr Momodou Lamin Sanneh,by your Honourable Newspaper, some months back.
Mr Sanneh contracted Lymphodeema {elephantiasis} at the age of thirteen. He is now 34 years of age.Your editorial, explained that Momodou had been denied a medical visa to travel for possible treatment to St.Georges Hospital in the U.K. by The entrants clearance section of The British High Commission in Banjul since 2004.After interrogating the circumstances of this unfortunate situation,I regret to say, that the decision made by our High Commission could not be faulted.Under Immigration rules, this particular visa {6 months} carries a reasonable requirement for the recipient to show that he could pay , privately for his treatment and that he should be able to meet the cost of his accommodation and living expenses { no recourse to public funds } and travel.

By OC Cox Banjul Police Head Quarters
Dear Editor,
I am very much humbled by the sentiments expressed by Hammadi Massinah to me concerning the linkage of Ousman Sanneh's death to Musa Mboob. We have a common enemy, who is Yahya Jammeh and we should put our efforts together and get him out. He has come to divide Gambians by putting his Jola tribe above all other tribes in a small country like ours.

Hammadi Salutes OC Cox!!! Saturday, June 21, 2008 (839 reads)
Saluting OC Cox with clear conscience and a strong passion-Ousman Sonko and Lang Tombong Tamba will cause Yahya Jammeh's BLOODY REMOVAL!
By Hammadi Maasinah.
My most recent posting vis-a-vis the presumed murder of late Police Commissioner Ousman Sanneh was indeed an eye-opener. Without doubt I am convinced that a reporter or contributor like OC Cox is merely relaying messages like any journalist or reporter on the ground would have done. For the records let me also say that I am not judging him for doing anything wrong. In fact his article clearly used the term "alleged".That word is one of the most prudent terms anyone could have used within a legal perspective before a verdict is pronounced against someone.

THE TRUE STORY ABOUT MUSA MBOOB!!!
….OC COX CALLS HAMMADI A PARTNER IN DEVELOPMENT
By OC Cox, Banjul Police Head Quarters
Dear Editor,
I wish to humbly clarify some of the issues raised by Hammadi Massinah in relation to Musa Mboob's alleged link to the killing of the late Ousman Sanneh. It could be recalled that Musa Mboob was the Regional Police Commissioner in North Bank Region based in Kerewan between 2002-2003 and later deployed to the Police Headquarters as Commissioner for Banjul and Operations respectively. Within six months, he was appointment Director General of the Immigration, replacing Tamsir Jasseh. This was during the tenure of 13 Badjie. Musa excelled well at the Immigration and he changed the face of this department by motivating the staff by promoting them and he even created the positions of Commissioners of Immigration and several other positions. Musa will promote his staff every six months. Some police officers opted for transfers to the immigration due to the continues promotions there.

Ex IGP Musa Mboob Never Killed Ousman Sanneh!!!
Former IGP Musa Mboob DID NOT KILL Late Police Commissioner Ousman Sanneh –Tumbul Tamba leaked the secret before he died!
By Hammadi Maasinah.
Yes! It is said… “show me your friend then I tell you, who you are!” This old adage can indeed save Musa Mboob’s name from being stained by the contents that are constantly boiling inside the messy cooking pot of character assassinations, within Yahya Jammeh’s inner circle. Musa is the friend of many good people. Part of his good friends have been killed by the Jammeh regime all because they never wanted to do the dirty work for this stinking system. Lt Bakary Camara was Musa's former batch mate. Today Camara has been framed and jailed by the same cartel around the state house. Anyone who says Musa killed Sanneh is uttering a BIG FAT LIE!

THE JULY 22ND CELEBRATIONS: IS A NATIONAL RECONCILIATION CRUCIAL FOR A GAMBIA THAT IS DEEPLY DIVIDED ALONG POLITICAL MERGINS
BY BINNEH S MINTEH
FORMER ARMY LIEUTENANT
The contemporary Professor of Government and International Affairs John Ikenberry argued that domestic politics is the realm of shared identities, stable institutions and legitimate authority that are rooted in very different types of orders.” He further asserted that “across the great historical junctures, states have adopted different strategies for coping with the uncertainties and disparities of post-conflict power and as a result have built different types of orders.” The Gambia from the July 22nd military coup is one such state with shared identities, institutions and a legitimate authority rooted in an autocratic and despotic order that is truly daunting.

Mr Editor please allows me a space to express my opinion about certain quality people who deserve a second chance. As a concerned citizen of the Gambia, indeed a pro- supporter and I do agree with most of what the government do. Sometimes I am felt with deep sadness the ways some people are humiliated and trashed like empty rubbish cans. I kept asking myself this question, “WHY”?
