Scoop:  Jammeh’s Cabinet Live On Freedom Radio

We just interviewed Yahya Jammeh’s cabinet. Tune in right now for the biggest scoop of the century.  Minister Fatou Lamin Faye, Fatou Mass Jobe, Minister Lamin Jobarteh live on Freedom Radio. A lot of state secrets have been compromised. Lamin Jobarteh said if offered millions of dollars he will repeal the recently passed laws: the banning of begging in the Gambia, and caricature of individuals.  Jobarteh also said the Justice Ministry is experiencing budgetary problems. We also interviewed Yahya Jammeh’s ADC Lt. Colonel Ansumana Tamba, Captain Gilbert, Major Sarjo Jarju, and Jammeh’s Protocol officer Moses Jallow.

HALIFA WRITES TO PRESIDENT JAMMEH

On Constitutional Lapses in the Inauguration of Councils

29 April 2013

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA

STATE HOUSE

BANJUL

RE: ON DEVIATIONS FROM THE RULE OF LAW

The setting up of different dates to inaugurate councils after the  4th April 2013 Local Government elections reflects a lack of uniformity in the assumption of office by members of Councils who are elected on the same day and have equal tenure of office. Good Laws are made by a state to ensure predictability of official conduct and avert ambiguity and absurdity in administrative practice. It is therefore important to point out to you that ambiguity and absurdity is already evident in the assumption of office on different dates by councillors who are destined to leave office on the same date if they serve their full term.

GAMBIA NEEDS GENUINE LIBERATORS

By Sulayman Jeng

Nothing good comes easy. In the same vein, it can be equally asserted that conferred cosmetic recognitions received on a silver platter do not radiate the pride that successes achieved through hard work and personal sacrifices reflect. In a nutshell, one tends to value and cherish things that one has toiled hard for more than those received from the hand of fortune. The same can be said of a freedom achieved on a silver platter and that fought for tooth and nail. That is precisely why those who fought to achieve their freedom will go to any length to preserve and protect it at all cost as opposed to those who inherit it. Perhaps this explains the reason for the struggle against Jammeh to liberate the Gambia is still limping. A detailed browse and analysis of the Gambian media both radio, electronic and print will reveal an atmosphere of uncertainty, mixed feelings, hopelessness, confusion and desperation. Beneath all these, one must hasten to add, lays a solid rock of achievements.

Letter to Ambassador Jackson McDonald on the State Department's Report

Dear Ambassador McDonald,

Re: THE GAMBIA - State Department's Human Rights Practices for 2012

The U.S. State Department's Report on the human practices in The Gambia for 2012 ( henceforth referred to as the Report ) is out and it does not make pleasant reading.  The report prepared by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor is the most scathing of any report emanating from the U.S. Government on the human condition in The Gambia. Even the legitimacy of the APRC government of Yahya Jammeh seems to be suspect when the Report cited, in the opening paragraph, the fact that 6 of the 7 Opposition Parties boycotted the National Assembly elections " in protest of government intervention and intimidation of opponents, including " instances in which elements of the security forces acted independently of civilian control."

Yaya Jammeh declares himself a perfect human being.

Yaya Jammeh declares himself a perfect human being.

By Modou Jammeh

Never in his 19 years rule has Yaya Jammeh accepted being a mortal being by accepting being susceptible to making mistakes or wrong judgments in ruling the Gambia. Yaya Jammeh said the British exploited the Gambian people for 400 years. By saying this has Yaya Jammeh, in being honest to himself, ever accepted that he is doing the same thing as the British if not worst. Worst still because Yaya Jammeh forces Gambians to go and work in his firm free of charge. Worst yet because Yaya Jammeh uses the soldiers labor free of charge. Worst again because Yaya Jammeh uses his position as a Head of State to do whatever he likes in the economy of this country and worst to the core because Yaya Jammeh can arrest, torture, imprison, kill, without the rule of law. In effect Yaya Jammeh is worse than the British colonialist because the colonialist has always paid for the labor of Gambian people and respected their human rights even if they were economic exploiters from a foreign land.

The Soldier Releases Latest National Security Briefings

By The Soldier

Pa, This is The Soldier again. My able boss, permission to write to you again. I know permission is granted. Pa, things are just falling apart for dictator Jammeh. Even the cooks who cook at his major events are now complaining of not being paid . The cooks who just came from the last Kanilai retreat event have not been paid and they are very angry . There is no money and the Yai Compins are also keeping the little they are receiving from dictator Jammeh. The ministry of finance cannot pay salaries of civil servants, there priority is to pay the salaries of the army and other officers but not the civil servants, where are we heading. Pa, on a more serious note, Monday, 29th May is going to be rough on many Gambian drivers. As reported on The Soldier's last story some arms were found in a vehicle and this has driven the dictator crazy. He is afraid and very nervous.

A POSSIBLE MAY DAY WORKERS DEMONSTRATION IS LOOMING IN THE GAMBIA

I  have received information that some union workers in the Gambia are planning demonstration to cause commotion in coming May day sports. This rumor is now circulating round that some Gambia union workers and the transport unions are dissatisfied with the current economic status quo in The Gambia. The workers are complaining about the economic hardship, low pay, and workers’ rights and working conditions. But the central issue is the hardship due to bad government policies and the 4 days working week making them earn less money against the raising inflation.

"Democracy Is An Illusion," Yahya Jammeh Tells His Cabinet

"Democracy Is An Illusion," Yahya Jammeh Tells His Cabinet

During a government retreat held in Kanilai, a rather confused and depressed looking Yahya Jammeh told his cabinet that "democracy is an illusion" while insisting that it is an imposed western concept against third world countries. For Jammeh, he opines that there is nothing like democracy.  He argues that peace and stability takes precedence over democracy. The Gambian tyrant also said that democracy is a western concept, which is alien to the African continent. In a boring speech, which lacks coherence, Jammeh tried to lecture his Ministers about "neocolonialism and what he calls 400 years of British misrule” against the Gambia and her people.  Jammeh said the western imperialists came to the Gambia because of its rich natural vegetation and economic opportunities.  He accuses the British of stealing our wealth. He said the British after looting our merger resources, they left us with nothing.  Jammeh even tried to equate his eighteen years rule and that "of the British 400 years misrule."  He claimed that his government has done much better in advancing the lives of Gambians compared to the British. He said the British have not done anything for the Gambia--besides inflicting endemic poverty on our people.

Yahya Jammeh Has Put A  Bounty On The Head Of The Ex- State Guard Commander Lamin Sanneh, Saul Badjie Sleeping Female Soldiers, Yanks Badjie Exposed!

By Officer X

Pa, This is OFFICER X

I was out of office for the past days and NAWEC wasn’t helping too that’s why I could not get back to you. I was in Banjul today though. Security is tight getting in and out of the city though. I haven’t gathered much about the arms thing yet but I heard it being discussed today but many do not think it is a credible thing. They think it is a set up by Oga and his boys to implicate some people and it is believe that in the coming days or week, some people may be arrested. Pa, This man is an evil and this is what he will continue to do to legitimize his stay in power and be doing his evil deeds.  By Monday, I will give you an update about the whole arms thing because I didn’t want to ask much questions you know. I have to be vigilant about the way I seek for information before they suspect that am dealing with you because not everybody is privilege to certain information, so I gather from all angles.
