Over 300 compound owners in  Western Region are presently in hot waters for failing to settle their compound rates and taxes, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively reveal. According to a top-level official at the  Brikama Area Council(BAC), 'these' yard owners who  have been accused of not paying their compound rates for the past 20 years, will soon  be arraigned before a magistrates' court in Brikama to answer charges levelled against them and if found guilty they might spend long years behind bars.

In our country we have a senseless failure of an Ethiopian-terrorist using the state-owned media to promote his agenda. All this is being done  under the watch of President Jammeh who is searching for every possible means to blame his failures on others!

(Text in summary) While in the Atlantic ocean sailing towards the shores of Spain via Hoceima an area located in northern side of Morocco these unfortunate immigrants were intercepted by the Moroccan navy who constantly patrol the area. This is one of the most heinous crimes ever committed against African immigrants trying to use the dangerous route only to escape into Europe via Spain .  Spain is usually the window of these voyagers searching for greener pastures in the West because of its proximity.
