Resignation from Chairmanship and GYU
I wish to convey through you my decision to resign both as Chairman and member of the Gambia Youth for Unity with immediate effect.
As you may recall, I wrote to you last month to inform you that I might only be able to serve as chair until the end of June 2016, if elections could be held.
However, since elections are not yet held, I am sorry to state that this is the end of the road for me. I am honored to have had the chance to pioneer and work with all of you in this journey. But currently, even though I will do my utmost to serve Gambia in the fight against Jammeh’s tyranny, my academic, professional, and family schedule will not avail me the leverage to do so through an organization.
Thank you and the team once again.
