A new book titled “ PRESIDENT BARROW, THE MAKING OF A NEW GAMBIA” is going to be launched on Saturday, at the Kairaba Hotel, by Gambia’s Women’s Affairs Minister, and overseer of the office of the Vice president Fatoumatta Tambajang Jallow, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. The book was coauthored by Ebrima Manneh, Gambia’s Ambassador to the United States, and Amadou Taal, a veteran former Gambian career Civil Servant.
According to the authors of the book, the book was edited and critiqued by Joseph Akagha, with foreword by Abdoulie Touray.
Ms. Tambajang, has been invited to officiate the launching of the first book ever published about Gambia’s new President Adama Barrow. The content of the book has not been made public yet.
Both authors shared the same political party with Mr. Barrow. Manneh and Taal, have risen to Executive positions during their long years of membership with Gambia’s biggest political party.
